Insurance and Payment

How much your session actually costs can vary depending on your specific insurance plan. The cost you pay per session can vary from $0 to the full session cost depending on your copay, deductible, and benefits.

I always recommend that you call your insurance company to verify your benefits.

If your insurance is not listed here, that means I am considered to be an Out of network provider by them. Some plans do allow for out of network coverage, so it can be worth following up with your provider regarding these benefits, as well.

If you do not want to use your insurance benefits or do not have insurance, I am able to accept private pay. For folks with limited financial resources, I am able to provide a sliding scale to help make the price of services feel more accessible to you.

  • Initial Consultation Sessions $205 per hour (at least 53 min and not more than 90 min)

    Individual Therapy $195 per hour

    Annual Administrative Fee $12 yearly

  • I require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule our sessions. To cancel, please email me. If you do not cancel within 24 hours prior to appointment, you will be charged the price of a full session ($195). Exceptions to this policy will be made in cases of emergencies, sickness, etc- we are all human, after all.

  • I offer a limited number of sliding scale options, particularly for folks who would typically not have access and would benefit from a therapist who self-identifies as queer and neurodivergent. Please feel free to reach out regarding my current sliding scale availability!

  • Some clients prefer private pay because it offers:

    • Therapy that isn’t shaped by insurance rules or limitations

    • Freedom to explore identity, trauma, or neurodivergence without needing a formal diagnosis

    • Greater consistency and flexibility with scheduling

    • More privacy — nothing is shared with insurance companies

    • Space to take things slowly, shift pace, or pause without affecting coverage

    Private pay can offer a sense of autonomy, privacy, and safety that aligns well with many clients’ needs.
